I have recently rescued a very sweet 6 month old puppy who was starved of not only food, but human affection. Having her has taught me a lot in the few days she has been in my life.
Always give a second chance. No matter what the situation is, all beings, human or animal, deserve a second chance at life.
Can you imagine being beaten or starved and then being told its too much work to let you live?
Rescue dogs love their owners just as much, if not more, than purchased puppies. Even if they dont show it in the same way as other dogs, they have hearts just as big.
They just need some time and work! they need to be shown that not all people are bad... that we understand that not all dogs get easy lives and maybe theirs didnt start off great!

They still deserve to live. They still deserve a loving home with people who treat them like the living, breathing and feeling beings they are!
People say so often that rescues are hard to train. or they are too much work. They have too many issues and they would just rather have a purebred puppy with papers and a clean slate.
But what if it were you? What if you were kicked every time you made a noise? What if someone tied you to a tree and never fed you? Or what if you were forced to fight to defend yourself or you were killed? How would it make you feel when people told you then, that you werent worth the little bit of extra effort?
You would want them to see that you are worth it. that you arent bad, and maybe just need a second chance at it all!
Thats what Rescue Dogs are. They are dogs that didnt get an easy start at life. They have problems sometimes and sometimes they just need a place to lay their head until they can learn to love again.
So give them a chance. next time you think about getting a puppy, put down your checkbook and take a trip to the local shelters and rescues. give a home to a dog that really needs one.
In a rescue dog, you will find a friend for life.

I really hope you see that Rescues are just as good as any other dog. they deserve a loving home, so why not open your arms and your heart to a dog that really needs the love?
Commissions!
hey guys! i have two pixel commission spots open 8D page dolls are only $10 ♥
Would anyone be interested in colour palettes?
I kind of want to post a few.
Pixels, man, Pixels.
I cant stop pixeling things. Yes, pixel is a verb now. Sorry for the lack of photography or anything other than silly pixel stuff, but lately I cant really focus anything else. My mom passed away about a week ago and my head still isnt on right, so you guys will have to excuse me.
Anyway, thank you all for the support and faves and the like! I really appreciate it!

Back, but for how long?
I cant promise that I will stay active here for a long time, but a huge amount of people have been imploring me to come back, so here I am! If things go well, I will take some of my older stuff out of storage and start adding new photography and drawings!
Missed you guys!

Thank you for writing this! I don't know why adopting a dog or cat from a shelter has so much stigma attached to it, and why everyone runs to Kijiji to buy their pets, off of breeders. This October 12, will be 1 month since I've adopted my now 11 week old Kitten from a Adoption event at Petsmart. I love him to pieces! and everyday I am reminded that he is more of a blessing to me, than I am to him.
